For starters, know that the men's college has a reputation for being a somewhat saner place to work than the madhouse that is the "ladies'" college.

As for salaries, in both places they start at around SR9000 for those with an MA, rising to about SR11,000 or more depending on experience. Accommodation is in the DQ, and apartments are generally spacious, at least if you're single or have a small family. Not sure what the 'family status' question is supposed to mean.

Hi, Cleo, thanks for your reply. Family status, well, in my case it means can you come out either with your family or bring them very soon after.
Does the company pay or contribute towards schooling ? Things like that.

PSU does sponser the families of teachers, male and female, but I have heard of people having problems getting visas for their dependents. Of course, this is quite common in KSA, and is by no means exclusive to PSU, so if possible try to insist that if they want you, they have to arrange for your family to come with you, not later. Once you yourself are in the classroom, employes often lose any sense of urgency in getting your family brought over.

I know PSU does pay some sort of education subsidy, but I've no idea how much it is.

According to my job offer from PSU, the total annual education subsidy is SR25000 max for all kids (NOT per kid). Children studying at PSU get 50% off tuition.
