I've got a really good friend, female, 22. College grad and TEFL Certified. She is American Born Chinese. She would like to work in China starting the fall semester. Does anyone have a reference or available position at their school? Thanks |

While it may not be impossible, it is certainly not easy for her to find a college/university teaching job at this stage of the game when most schools are gearing down for final exams and summer vacation soon, if not already. Also, chances are quite good most colleges and universities in not-so-undesirable cities have already filled their roster. She might have to go to a city that is not very ideal. |

To the OP,
I know at least university in GZ that is Asian-American friendly and that is still looking for 2/3 teachers for the fall. There are two-or-three telephone screening, however, and let me assure you that if she were to be screened out, it might be because of lack of experience and not ethnicity.
She must have a United States passport, however, because the uni-in-question restricts itself to hiring U.S. nationals.
If you wish to have a go at this, please contact me by PM.
