I don't have cable, so I'm stuck with the local TV channels. No big deal, as Trans TV shows an English movie double bill every night. Sorted, right? Wrong. Because every movie they show seems to have Jean Claude Van Damme in it. Right now, there are two simultaneous JCVD movies on (antv too)! In one of them JCVD just had a 5-minute fight sequence with a man in a fuzzy penguin costume. Seriously.
I find it hard to accept that JCVD will be part of my life for the rest of time. I mean, he can't have made an infinite number of movies. Can he? Please god, no. |

problem is these two actors seem to be the only ones the local population can understand. Others just seem a tad too subtle. If you compare a Van Damme flick to any locally produced show it will look positively classy and well-acted. |
