I just came back to Japan as I was sick of the thai women and prefer Japanese girls. Anyway Ive been looking for ALT jobs but have found out from many dispatch companies that these jobs will only be until next march. From next march many prefectures will be going back to JET since they have had too many problems with dispatch companies.
Im worried because Im 45 and have no career and next year there is no chance Ill get hired back as a JET and there will be less and less dispatch comapnies. Anyone else worrying about this? If you dont beleived ask your dispatch company or the BOE.

That's funny. JETs are getting cut left right and centre. The only jobs that are increasing are the elementary positions, but they have a hard time finding anyone to do it, because of the behaviour of the boys.

The JET program is going to be scratched in a few years. Fact is the JET program will be cut years before NOVA goes under!
The BOE profits from these dispatch companies, and the ALTs suffer.
Working as an ALT has gone down hill. No job security, low pay, and treated harshly. The dispatch companies are a dime a dozen now day and are multiplying. After the JET program is cut, there will be more than double the number of dispatch companies. Why? What an easy way to make money. Once the dispatch company gets a contract, they do very little while making just as much money as the ALT. The ALT works every day, and the dispatch company administration works maybe a week out of every month to pay the crumy salaries of the ALTs.
These dispatch companies bid less and less to get contracts from each other. The bid is often so low the salary is not enough to make ends meet. You are better off going back to Thailand and getting your old job of working at the two univeristies again.

No problem - you can live for a few monfhs on the millions of yen you saved during your several months in Thailand.

I was in nursery school the last time I met someone who bulls**tted as much as you.

You shouldn't worry about not finding a job...the chances of you getting a job after coming to Japan are very high...especially if you come in the hiring seasons such as summer or April...

At least in Thailand I had a life instead of just using my computer like I do in Japan. I had loads of chicks there they were so easy but in Japan you have to try and most of the time I just get rejected so gave up. I end up just paying for it in Japan but I missed Japanese girls looks.
Your news is old news. 5 years ago JET was being scrapped but then NHK ran a program about BOEs and Distpatch companies such as RCS LSJ Itnercrat and then some BOEs decided to go back to JET. So
your intformation was correct lastyear but no longer JET is making a resurgence.
I dont even know why I bother with loosers like you anyway because your the kind of guys that phone your friends back in the states and they say come back Im making 50 grand a year and Ive got a real job and you say oh yeah maybe someday. And then you hang up the phone and think what a bullshiter my friend is and then you look at your alumnae magazine and see your friend just donated 20 gees to your old university.
And still dont believe it.
Im just glad there are a lot of loosers like you around who are willing to work for peanuts while Im not even working but am smart
1 I went back to my girlfriend
2 I got her to wire money to buy a ticket back to Japan
3 I eat cut ramen to save money
4 I buy the big 2 litre bottle of alcohol indtead of the other.
Then I dont need to work 40 hours a week asking people
' so What did YOU do last weekend?' (like I give a damn}
In fact I only need to teach about 2 days at universities here in Japanto make 150.000 yen a month. So that gives me 5 days off a week plus all vacations and with my experience in Thailand at 2 universities I can easily get my foot in the door with Universities in Japan. becasue my CV is not 1 dimensional like Glenskis.
Who has been working in the same school for about 10 years and not even cruising the guy is actually working which is even more looser.
