I have a little different address for Lalita -- @lalitasworld.com -- this is from the return header. The same window that I copy to report all the lottery and bank scams.

OK, here is the deal:

In the email header it shows [email protected], as you said.

But here is the weird thing: That same email address is also found in the body of the email, BUT: the part after the @ sign is just simple text in black. The part before the @ sign, i.e., 'fabulousjobs', is in blue, so it is actually an active link. If you hover the cursor of your mouse over it (over the 'fabulousjobs' in blue within the email body), and then look down at the status bar of the brower, it says [email protected]

So as I said, I am confused.

trapezius, pleease tell me what UOH is? Thanks

UOH = University of Hail (in Hail, SA). There are a few threads about it down the page within the Saudi Arabia board. Or just search. You are welcome.

Thanks trapezius!

I think I'll email her and just ask if she is incahoots with Al Falak. I saved her ad and the entire email address was underlined and in blue, as you have it, and I checked her emails to me and could only find the same. She may have found others that know about her and have said something to her and now she has her own email address?

From what I've read, she is offering $10,000 USD more than any of the British private schools in SA and somewhat more that Al Falak was offering for PMU.

And thank you for telling me what the UOH stood for.

And for scot47 - sorry to get off topic! But, what he has done to America is a total disaster and not just economically.

"In answer to your question about Al'Falak...No...actually they are our competitor in fact...we are in direct competition with them.LOL. "

I got this in an email just minutes ago from Lilita. So, maybe she has her own recruiting office. She did say that she is in Bahrain.............

Hmmmm...........one really must be very careful dealing with some agencies out in those parts.

Has anyone applied to AF but got contacted by Lalita? If, as she says, they are merely competitors, surely she would not have details of people who are in the AF database?

I wonder why, if as appears to be the case, AF lost the contract with PMU to be promptly replaced by Lalita's outfit? Just curious!!

Trapezius, in relation to what you have been wondering....this sort of thing goes on more than one might think. I suspect that sometimes, it may be the case that certain people's knack for data theft rather exceeds their real knowledge of technology!!

Does anyone have any information on the latest regarding PMU providing or not providing multiple re-entry stamps? If PMU doesn't provide one, how difficult and expensive is it to get multi or single entry ones? Thanks.

For all that are concerned about different recruiters ---

I got this email from Lalita this morning (20 July) I found her advert at ESL Teachers Board and there was nothing anywhere open or hidden about AF in that advert.

I only cut and pasted this and added the quotation marks.

"LALITAS RESPONSE: Whilst I look like Darth-Vader in my abhaya I am simply sitting at my PC day and night, with a cup of tea, answering ESL teachers questions over the Net. The boring un-Ministry-of-Darkness-like explanation for why the URL AlFalak popped up:

In preparation for my advert, I cut and pasted their advert into Word. I edited it, changing their email address for mine, and then basically re-writing the whole thing. I tried to make my advert more like my style and completely not like theirs.

I then used this template for my other emails letters and adverts notifying people of the available posts in Saudi. Possibly the hyperlink was still somewhere buried in the code. Rather like whenever you make a Word document on a computer the name of the User of that computer is always stored on the profile of that document even if later you resave and rename it. I am glad that this has been brought to my attention as I never knew this could happen.

AlFalak has been assisting with recruitment it is true. I have been assisting the University with recruitment possibly for the same University it is true. AF had placed their advert on Daves ESL Cafe...and I was faced with the challenge of making sure that my advert was as different as possible to theirs. We are different companies and yet must cover the same basic information. Whilst we are essentially working to fill the same positions, our businesses are separate. I have no ill feelings towards AF, and hope they fill their quota of places, but I am not working with them or for them.

There are a lot of places to fill so I am sure that the University thought that maybe they need two or more companies working on it.

If you are applying via AlFalak stick with them though. Cos I am not going to pilfer their applicants...I have enough of my own.

If you want me to give your application my full time and attention better apply to me and me alone. I am swift, organised and will get things moving in the right direction. I am pretty busy but am doing my best to screen and process the applicants as fast as possible!

All you need to know about me is that I get you jobs.

I was recruited by AF myself last year when I took a teaching post in Saudi. Before that I was a recruiter for 5 years in Japan. That is finished now and I work for myself. I have various recruitment projects & others going currently. There is nothing mysterious and sinister in the fact that AlFalak and I was/ is hiring for the same university. I went to Saudi initially as a teacher to check it out, and see what opportunities there were there.

I liked my life in Saudi very much.

Lalita"

Could almost be a reply/explanation by Sir Humphrey...minus the irony, of course.
