Most times this is an excuse to not pay you money at the end of each month. For instance they advertise that they pay you $65.000 NT per month, but 5,000 is a bonus. Check your contract very carefully.
Secondly, conveniently that MOD EDIT guy, who advertises on here, does not tell you about the requirement that you have 80 hours of training in the first year, besides the teaching responsibilities. This is ridiculous for treachers who are required to have a bachelors degree and state certification in the US. That was not in my contract, but then they required it after the fact. READ YOUR CONTRACT CAREFULLY!!! The MOD EDIT who advertises on here is a master at conveniently not telling you everything. Just ask him if you are required to take 80 hours of training to get a job from him? If so ask him what the training is! My training as a whole was meaningless! |

This is useful information, but can you please tell us more?
Who is MOD EDIT What Company does he work for? At the moment, it's great information, but MOD EDIT is a pretty common name, so I'm not sure most people will know who you are talking about (I certainly don't!). |

Sorry! I have seen many advertisements on Dave's ESL Cafe from this company. I guess it is Dewey Recruiting Company located I beleive in Taipei.
