I understand. By the way, I've decoded your user name. ''Miski'' means Miss Kuwait Information. Sounds better than an Irish Liverpudlian name.

I'm a slow thinker. You're a Muslim so you can't dance to either of them, can you? Well done, you got me!

So you admit that all you post is misinformation?

You must be hibernating, Miski. Had a brief look at your Kuwait blog and it seemed quite interesting but probably not much there for a boring middle-aged fart whose life revolves around things like beer and sport. I'll have a closer look tomorrow but I'm not sure that how one wears one's hijab, or child-rearing, will interest me much. Enjoy the summer.

Enjoyed the joke miski2! I swear in Spanish, by the way, especially when golfing. I thought your shopping list was interesting, and the point you made about the items probably costing about half in Kuwait.
I would remind you, however, that in the UK there is a minimum wage, about 5.30 an hour, I believe. Not a great deal but a fortune compared to what my former tea boy at Burgan earned (KD 22 a month).
You'll probably be looking forward to getting back to Kuwait and soaking up some sun. Thursday is the 17th anniversary of the invasion! Can you believe it?

Thanks for the feedback. I was offered posts in UAE in Al Ain with the ADEC project teaching English in the schools there, and also a job in Kuwait in a Private Elementary school.

The job in Al Ain was not taken because teachers had warned one that they were dropping out like flies from the program.
Kuwait was also not selected, at this time, because of concerns about teaching young children, which is not really my forte (lack of creativity).

In the end I ended up as a teacher in Korea under the Ministry of Education, teaching at one of the Teacher Training Colleges in Korea. I will stay in Korea one year, but not more. The salary is good, but the social life and environment are not stimulating.

I think it is time our spooky poster came to Saudi to confer with the Djinn here. There are many of them. Also a lot of beings even loopier than he.

This will be considered.

Ghost is looking for a position which offers at least 3 months leave per year, which is more important than a higher salary.

Thanks for any leads.
