| The FM3 is the foreigner's permission to reside in Mexico. There are different types of FM3's allowing you to reside here under specified and varied circumstances. Working is one of them. |

| Couldn't have said it better myself. Some people with much larger social security checks than mine will be retire in Mexico and get FM3's which allow them to live in Mexico but not to work. Does anyone know exactly what FM stands for in Spanish? |
