Hi everyone..
Im hoping that some of you could help me out. I'm a native speaker that's planning to come to Turkey. I have been offered a position at a kolej. I have a TESOL certificate but no degree. The pay is pretty good but no health insurance etc. because they can't register me with the Ministry of Education. My question is ... the contract Im signing, is it valid? If it isn't valid why are they having me sign it? Thanks. |

It's not valid. The idea of a contract is that you'll hold up your end and they'll hold up theirs, but in reality, nothing obligates them to hold up their end, and it's only your own sense of decency and ethics that might make you hold up yours. |
