I believe that Delta is recruiting for ADNOC. If you have any information on either please share. Thank you kindly. |

ADNOC pays a good salary - over 20,000 dhs. BUT they don't pay for nor find housing for you, or at least they didn't last time I talked to friends working there. If you are a couple a very good situation is to have one partner work for ZU, HCT etc and get the housing and education benefits and have the other work at ADNOC and pick up the high wage packet.
I don't know if ADNOC offers any benefits apart from a high wage, and with the price of housing getting pretty expensive and hard to find in Abu Dhabi, I'd be wary of coming without some guarantee of a decent roof over your head. You could calculate 10,000 min a month if you want a decent 2 bedroom unfurnished apartment. If you are offered 25,000 or upwards, then your take home pay will be ahead of the starting wages at most other institutions, especially if you have only a B.A.
Ask about medical insurance, vacation tickets, educational allowances. Don't arrive, then ask!! |

Of the two ADNOC institutes I know of--their Technical Institute and their Petroleum Institute, I believe the salaries range from 14,000 - 20,000 AED depending upon whether or not it's the former or latter and not factoring in whispers of an impending salary increase for ATI in the 3,000 AED range.
ATI single, married with one or two children I'm pretty sure receive the same housing allowance, around 70,000 AED while three children get a higher housing allowance. I am not sure of the amount. It is true that you are on your own finding housing. Is it difficult? Ever seen Animal Planet? New comers are the wildebeasts; long term residents with wasta are the lions.
Included in the benefits package is a furniture allowance in the neighbourhood of 28,000 AED.
Delta International Petroleum Services is news to me unless it's for a remote posting job involving ADGAS on Das Island.

I had never heard of this organisation until you mentioned it. It was my understanding the ADNOC did its own recruiting - the PI for example does its own. Don't know about ATI. ADGAS tends to use local recruiting agents like Gulf Human Resources Development Company for Das Island. So this place is a bit of a mystery.
If you're interested in teaching at ADNOC, go vacancies at <www.pi.ac.ae>. They aren't hiring now though.
