Hello! I'd like to work in Hyogo prefecture next year. Can someone recommend any good English language schools in that area?

Thanks! Smile

Where in Hyogo might help someone narrow it down for you. For example, there must be thousands of places in Kobe city itself but then, if you want to live up near Kinosaki by the Japan Sea, you will have far less to choose from.

Well, I just got off the phone with my Dad to see where the relatives live...they live in the Inamicho - Kakogun area. I hope this narrows things down! Basically, I am trying to find a place close to them so I can crash there, thus avoiding start up costs. Smile

Well that's better. Just along the coast west of Kobe in the urban sprawl and so transport will be good and there should be schools in that area. Why don't you ask the relatives if they know of anything? I think using them as a base to look for work is a great benefit.

I searched the web in Japanese and English but was unable to locate anything specific except that Inamicho runs an English club for over 60s at the town hall Shocked maybe not... and that there are places around which offer the TOEFL and TOEIC tests though it didn't specify the names of the companies unfortunately just that they were in your area.

So, let us know what you find.
