Does anybody know if there is any work to be found in or around Huaraz? Id like to be there for the access to hiking and climing. If not, can anybody reccomend another good place to find work that is close to rock climbing areas?

Don't know any schools in Huaraz. Cajamarca is about five hours away and check the schools on the LA Job List.

You could also check out Huancayo, nice mountain city with a couple of ESL lang schools and access to similar, albeit not as major, outdoor pursuits as Huaraz.
