Does anyone have a recommendation about which is the more desirable place to live? We're trying to make a decision about where we'd like to be placed based solely on small photos we find on the internet, so any descriptions you all could give us would be helpful. We could also go with Puerto Natales, although I'm worried about the cold and wind.
One person said that you shouldn't go to Temuco unless you want a reason to commit suicide... is it really that bad?? |

I would say neither of those places....there are relatively few decent places to live in Chile, unless you're REALLY trying to get into the "culture"...the problem is that Santiago really is quite polluted. |
