This summer the heat is a lot harder to bear than previous years I don't know if I can handle much more of it ,people are telling me its going to be like this till October ,don't know if I can hang on till then .I notice the locals don't sweat as much whats their secret ?
I drink Ayran every day even it makes your breath stink but what else helps ? Any ideas ?
I can't just sit in an air conditioned room all summer . |

I like the heat even though I do sweat alot. On holiday this year in canada all the locals thought the summer was hot..... I was freezing.
I think I grew up with too many unpleasant winters in scotland so heat is good. Nothing better than sitting on the balcony in the evening with a good book and a cold beer.(Well maybe football) |

Garlic is one of the most effective agents for making your breath smell.
On the subject of keeping cool in the (desert) heat, besides AC I'd say it depends on the situation ...
In traffic, a casual V-sign usually does the trick ... or when more animation is required, a below-the-dashboard 'Up Yours' arm manoeuvre ...
While shopping, I find that running over small children with my trolley helps me keep the temperature down on any injustice that may have been inflicted upon me by their parents ...
And in the classroom, I remind myself that it doesn't pay to take an interest in anything the students might say or do ... |

Thanks! He's definitely gorgeous but he sweats buckets and radiates heat like nothing else. Except an oven, I guess. Or the Sun... |

Billy ,stay in the shade as much as poss ,so don't go out at all ,just like the Turks . I never use the bath normally but just lately I take a book and lie in it with me headphones on with a cool beer or two up to my chest in water . Sheer bliss ! |
