I suffer from the South-Asian pollyanna syndrome: seeing the 50 inch waist, bald-headed German with his hairy arm around the lady friend/ waif with the 21 inch waist.

I am lucky (knock on wood) I was a fitness instructor up till age 40 so that kept the weight /waist creep from being a problem.
However, my latest "eat candy bars + too much soda pop" isn't helping me.
I can picture myself as a slob at age 50 if not too careful. |
