Here I sit looking out the window in Esentepe, it's a great feeling to finally see RAIN! I love it, the sight, smell and freshness. Istanbul really needs it. God, how I missed the sight and smell of pouring rain. |

Oooh! You've got rain already? There are some slightly foreboding-looking clouds approaching me out here in BFE, but nary a drop. I'm afraid by the time it reaches us it'll be mud again... |

Wait until January and you are all freezing your gonads off and complaining about the rain, cold, snow, miserable weather, etc. Hot sweaty weather- stay with us. I like summer. |

No, I still like rain. Not all the time but every so often is lovely. Hot sunny days are fine and dandy but get tedious after a while. I get bored of too much of the same kind of weather-- Dubai drove me crazy- sweaty hot blue skies every bloody day with no end in sight. Ugh. Anyway, am tired of all the water cuts and would be delighted to get those resevoirs sufficiently filled so that I actually have water on my weekends. |

Yes, it poured for all of about 20 minutes. I loved it. Bring on the rain!!! I'm so sick of these hot, humid, heat filled days..... bring on the rain..... (dances around doing a rain dance). |

It seemed to have lasted longer than that out in Ikiteli...more like 45 minutes! Messed traffic up, that's for sure... |

You want rain? We'll send over some from the UK - we've got more than enough...

Wow, by the time it reached me yesterday it was about 2 mins of sprinkle.
But today we're getting it properly. Apparently there was a big noisy storm last night that Ender and I somehow slept through... |
