Is it true there is a place in Pangaltı that sells asian grocery stuff? Dmb, I remember you said something about this ages back but I can't remember the details. Since I'm moving in there next week, I seriously need to fill my bare cupboards with yabancı goodness...

Yes.You can pretty much find coconut milk everywhere these days. I remember when l used to make my own because it was so hard to come by. The Carrefoure is in Kadiky, by the way. They have limes and all that jazz, aswell. They also have seaweed sheets for sushi and sushi making kits. Rather fab....

Yip. There are 2 or 3 Sarkuteris on Ergenekon that always have goodies. Carry on walking up towards Kustepe Cad and there's a a street manav guy(always there) who always has interesting veggies. Then on the Anne Cad. there are a few more cool shops. There's even an organic one that sells vanilla pods should you get an urge for custard. Very Happy

Went to Caliente a few weeks ago.

The food was a joke and an insult to Latin food everywhere.

Heard a colleague say that she had a hair in her food.

If you know Latin food, then this place is a joke.
