Greetings,
I'll be in Shanghai tomorrow and am looking forward to learning the language. I have been in contact with EF concerning Chinese lessons and am so far cool with the place. I also understand the place has a pretty poor reputation concerning foreign teachers; is studying there worth my money? Please keep in mind my school offers free Chinese classes. Is paying the extra money/time really worth my effort? |

How much does EF charge people to learn Mandarin?
There are a plethora of Mandarin schools in Shanghai. I suggest that you look in the "That's Shanghai" magazine or "The Shanghai Daily" newspaper; you'll see a bunch of ads for such schools.
I used to go to "iMandarin". I forget the exact cost, but it was around 3000 rmb for Level 1. They offer 3 levels. They were/are more expensive than other schools, but the location was convenient.
Good Luck! |

Just did that with my basic model Nokia, which I have had for at least five years. Took it out, let it dry, and it still works.
Actually I left it on my bed, my wife washed the sheets, didn;t notice it |

a retired gov official's got money, but feels uncomfy about it since salaries there've been rather low
puttin' it in education is just about the best way to hide it |
