Apologies............. You're the one that is NOT a NATIVE speaker of the ENGLISH Language !!!! So why teach it?
Sandles /Sandals
BTW, I don't teach English, I teach Primary.

Google the word, and you will get both spellings.

I seem to remember that you began this discussion by suggesting I had mispelt SANDALS. You now seem to accept that you were mistaken.
As for not being a native speaker....? Thanks for the laugh. I was a native speaker long before you were born and I suggest you take Scot47's advice and enrol at a school where they might teach you to spell.

Ms. Doublemoccalatteegurrll couldn't spell her way out of a kindergarten alphabet quiz. She makes Miss Teen S. Carolina look like Virginia Woolf.
Use the DICTIONARY, not Google. You can find any bizarre misspelling somewhere on the internet, hence by Googling it. Jeez! Is that so difficult to grasp?

Right on! A good internet reference for spelling and vocabulary questions is www.dictionary.com

I don't think this guy is a true Brit or American. Maybe a Christian Arab?

I found this especially offensive. Even if I were a Christian Arab (I'm not), what relevance would it have to the topic under discussion. I suggest that the moderators scrutinize this person's posts.

How can you teach English if you can't comprehend it? One does not need to be a lawyer to understand what Bebsi wrote about appendages.

Yeah I like the Shake n bake name...... , oh BTW, you wouldn't survive in a Kindergarten room.

Alphabet Quiz: I personally believe that the Alphabet, yeah and so on, as is for all the children of the world especially for the Iraq.

I'm not a mocha latte girl, I like it with a double espresso, not chocolate.

So why can't any of the great scholars (sheikhs) explain why the Brits use the R controlled vowels with words like colour or favourite?
