Alright then, 50-100%. Does it really matter? The point remains the same, i.e. never take the first price quoted!
I try not to use AC purely for environmental reasons, & would rather use a fan. Moving to a tropical country, then having to sleep under a blanket because the AC is so cold, seems like insanity to me. Obviously during Apr/May AC is essential but the rest of the year I don't use it much.
The biggest problem with guesthouses is having to be let in & out all the time, especially if you're a night owl which I was back in my guesthouse days. |

I just wanted to thank all of you for your input. I have gleened valuable information from you all. I would also like to know what district is best to live in. I don't need a night life, I just need comfort and safety.
