| I got a call from Craig Soffer from Oxford English in Hanoi. I'm working in Saigon at the moment but considering going to Hanoi in a month, and the school sounded pretty good. Has anyone worked for them or heard anything about the school? |

This school has existed in Hanoi for more than ten years and is considered reliable by most teachers in that it provides you with the agreed upon salary for your services. Unsurprisingly, working conditions rise and fall based on the current DOS (this school has had many). Oxford is one of several schools (British Council, Language Link, Apollo, and UNESCO-CICE on Hang Chao...) which I would consider okay to work for. If your goal is to find a place that will finance your stay in Hanoi for a few months then Oxford should be as good as any.
