Last week, it was a typhoon, today, heavy rain shut down the school I'm working at.

My husbands school closed for the morning but the teachers still had to go! lol...if the kids can get washed away...why cant the teachers? lol |

Brooks, well, it was an involuntary holiday that let me see the neighbourhood and give me some more things to talk to the students about.
The unlucky part was being caught on the wrong side of a flooded train line that morning.
Quib, yeah, regardless of the weather status, we teachers have to be there for the 9:00am standby. I guess teachers are inpervious to weather? The kids are too dainty? I don't know. |
