| I was wondering where you would recommend staying for my first little while in Jakarta. How do yu rate Jalan Jaksa? Do you know anything about the Cikini area? Is there any other alternative? |

| Jaksa is good, quite cheap for staying, eating and drinking. Also one of the few places in Jakarta where bules can hang out and not feel the weight of islam or boring mall junkies hanging over their head. |

| I'm sort of a mall junkie myself. Can you recommend any malls where I can get a latte and read the Economist and, hopefully, get free WiFi and chat to some cute BMW driving Indo gals? |
