quick question about landing permission

If I have a return ticket three months from now, the duration of the landing permission, and I go to china for a few days, will they let me back into Japan?

In other words, do I have to apply for a re-entry visa or anything like this or will I be fine (since I'm visa exempt).

I think so.

You can't get a re-entry permit without a visa (or PR).
