Ther's a position on the job board for a TOEFL teacher in Saudi. It stresses that only UK nationals should apply. Why is this? Only Brits to teach US English. How strange. Is this because of security? |

Excuse my ignorance, but is jibberish the US spelling for gibberish?
I always try and point out the differences in English that my students are likely to come across. |

dmb that is strange. But I have a feeling that a Brit teaching TOEFL is a more workable scenario than a USAnian teaching IELTS. I mean, how many have heard of it...
Let us know who gets the job if you can. We'll sort them out next time they want to renew their passport
