Dear yaramaz,
Way to gogo. Don't even use a glass, either, huh?
Regards,

| I had to use that dreadful book in Korea. I got my little ones to call it "Gogo HATES English." Drove the administration mad. |

I love teaching kids. I especially like the really squirrelly little ones. It's like I am living sesame street every day....C is for COOKIE(and also for Celeste who seems to be having a huge immaturity attack)
Seriously though, I do prefer the kids classes because I find them easier to motivate, and I also find that as long as I have good classroom control, that they are able to outperform most adult beginners that I have taught. Not to mention the fact that it is a lot easier to come up with enough material to fill a 45 minute kids' class than it is to come up with beginner level material that adult students will find stimulating and not too daunting.

Dear John,
A glass would only get in my way. I prefer a more direct aproach, much like my teaching style.
Please note that I am not wearing my black latex hip waders as they are uncomfortably sweaty in Jaccuzzi situations. Am wearing my collection of Gogo books sewn together. Very useful in this context.
kind regards,
Yaramaz |

I liked teaching teenagers in the morning and adults in the afternoon, here in England. Just such a good mix. Teenagers from elementary to Abitur, adults from elementary doing role-tasks with English money in the shop to advanced Germans and Japanese business people wanting preparation for their new postings in Milton Keynes (and the only adjective I avoided teaching them was "ghastly").
Ready-made phrases spring to mind, but I can't improve on the "rich tapestry". |
