Does anybody know of any websites where students can post their work online. I've just finished a unit of work with an advanced group on satire and they have written essays and articles which would make Swift proud! I've also got some great cartoons they have drawn. It would be very encouraging for them to have a forum for sharing their work, and perhaps receiving comments from other language learners. |

I am involved with Ning and find it a great social networking site for students, if set up properly by a teacher.
Students each get a blog where they can post work. The teacher can highlight this. But what makes it better than edublogs or others is they can interact socially (a feature kids expect these days). But the teacher can moderate.
Check out our EFL Classroom community http://eflclassroom.ning.com for a semblance of an example. Of course, a classroom ning unless adults, in my opinion, should be private or semi private. Use the main page only for displaying student work to the public.....but then all members can browse wherever they want.

I also forgot to mention Clutterme www.clutterme.com as a simple tool which is probably best for use by ESL / EFL students. Larry Ferlazzo on his blog with the newest links, has a write up about this. I also have blog options on our community Buzka (list of web 2.0 sites).
