over the past 4 years, i've accumulated quite a few useful files on my laptop. lots of teaching related items... tongue twisters, games, idioms, useful expressions in english, lesson plans (writing), vocabulary lists...
i thought it might be useful if we had a thread where people could post what they have and then maybe we could trade some files/ideas via email.
if anyone's interested, just post a reply, and tell us what you have, and we can go from there. |

My top three lessons:
1. There is a lesson on www.onestopenglish.com that I love teaching. The lesson is on extreme adjectives and great for teaching vocabulary and pronunciation. I don't do the memory or charades games since I'd have to create tons of cards.
2. Download this file and create a lesson on paralanguage. Students will love it as they try to make all these strange sounds they have never made before in their life.
3. Teach students how to give instructions using useful expressions, including those for sequencing, by asking them to teach you how to make dumplings. |

thanks. what i was aiming at was this: i have a lot of word files on my computer. if anyone has something similar, then we can exchange some files via email, just send a pm to another member with your email and offer something in exchange. most of the files i have here are fairly useful and most have been used in the class (and been refined over time). they can be amended to meet different needs. |
