|
|
I was wondering if anyone had any insight as to where I might go to take Chinese lessons. I asked my school (new branch of Shane in Taoyuan). The only resource they knew of was the university in Taipei, but classes will be at the same time I have to teach! I am trying to see if anything else might be out there, as I really need to learn Chinese for menus, shopping, etc. quick. |

There are 2 universities in nearby Jong Li and Pingzhen that offer Chinese Language courses. At one you can study with a small private group of 5 or 6 at the other (National Central University) you will be part of a larger class that starts and finishes according to the semesters like a normal University course.
This is for the semestered course:
Daniel Zhongda Yu
Assistant of Chinese Language Program

I looked into taking a course in Taoyuan county as well, but I found that the times clashed with my teaching schedule. I ended up setting up a few language exchanges with some locals. It's cheaper than tuition too. |
