.. and I, as a woman, can drive my car to any and all spots in the country... without ever having to cross a national border.
Hardly a comparison.VS |
Oh, yeh, I forget, in Saudi Arabia if you are a woman, they do not want you to waste you energy in driving a car, and alternatively, they offer you an American air-conditioned six cylinders car with a private chauffeur to take you wherever you want, and make you comfortable, and you will feel like the princess Cleopatra of ancient Egypt who had her own servants and chauffeurs! Because of their 'exagerated' hospitality, the saudis do not want you to drive and probably have an unwanted car accident with the Bedouins of the magic kingdom!!
And the national borders will not harrass you and do not ask for your face to be uncovered! |

There is not much to see in that part of Saudi on the other side of the bridge but oil establishments

Not true. |
No, you said that there was nothing to see apart from oil establishments, nothing to do with you driving or being like Kuwait. |

Didn't know "Princess" Cleopatra had chauffeurs, 007. Must have been a stressful job, what with the heat and those Israelites wandering all over the roads! |

All borders are hassles... and I've passed through many in my life. And given the choice of some driver and car or driving my own vehicle, I would ALWAYS choose to drive myself. I prefer others NOT to force their choices upon me... which is why I chose to never work in KSA.

It is a fact that there is more to the Eastern Province than oil establishments. |
