I've heard that the ICELT Prgram is offered here in Ist.
It's supposed to be above the CELTA but not quite up there with DELTA.
Don't know much about it. Any feedback?
Does this Diploma have any pull at a job interview?

See here: http://www.cambridgeesol.org/teaching/icelt.htm
It seems to be a course designed for foreign teachers with experience who want to gain formal, academic training in an international/English environment.
It is a certificate not a diploma.
It is different to a CELTA but not necessarily better - it depends on your background and experience. Most employers will probably not have heard of it. I'd stick to CELTA & DELTA if I were you (assuming you are a native speaker teacher). |
