its a total toss-up, youre right. in some cases i can even believe that having your classes watched and/or recorded by video would help you. consider that often incompetent managers believe anything the students say because they think the customer is god and that "one shouldnt bite the hand that feeds them." in japan i usually feel like my school is judging me as an entertainer and not as a teacher. video footage of my teaching would show anyone that im not a slacker and in fact trying to teach the students a thing or two... |
