Has anyone looked into the New Mexico programme for teaching on reservations? The wages are very high with housing included, and you can get certified.

It is not ESL exactly, but probably involves some aspects of it. |

I have taught in First Nations communities in BC and they have their rewards and challenges. In BC, we refer to English language teaching positions for First Nations students as ESD (English as a Second Dialect), and not ESL.
Similar to the program in New Mexico, there are many First Nations communities in BC that seek qualified teachers and provide a generous salary and free or subsidized accommodation. |
