Been offered a job in Yantai w/ a Korean school

I will be coming alone but my fiancee will join me w/ her child once i get settled.

Was wondering about the following:

1. Is it Western-friendly? English signs, western restaraunts, etc...

2. Locals friendly?

3. Heard there was a Korean & Japanese population there - are there opportunities to do private tutoring? small part time jobs?

4. Weather friendly? I hate humidity, Fiancee does not like the cold (she is Filipino)

5. Traffic, noise, pollution - any comments?

6. I know its a small city; does it get boring and redundant quickly?

7. What is going rate for a decent, spacious, 2 bedroom?

Much thanks and appreciation....
