| When I arrived at the Mexico City airport on September 21, I asked for 90 days and got 180! I wonder if things are more difficult if you arrive at the border in a car... |

| No, it's quite the opposite because the ever-growing numbers of snowbirds are in Mexico for close to six months at a time, and Immigration is used to that. |

I stayed at a hostel last year and a girl there was complaining that she only got 5 days at the airport, despite wanting to study Spanish for three months. I think that's the worst I heard.
Last time I came in on a tourist card I was given 180 days, because the oficer said "I asked nicely", whatever that means. |

| When I arrived back in Mexico from Peru earlier this month I got 180 days without having to ask. Seems to be policy for the DF airport. |
