Does anyone remember the woman who advertises here for her book of EFL schools worldwide? I've searched on the job forum, but can't remember her name. Anyone know of her website? |

Was it Susan Griffiths, Teaching Your Way Around the World? (or something like that...) That book is quite old--mid '90s, I think. I read it cover to cover about 10 times before I got into EFL eight years ago. Has it been updated?

I don't think it was her, but I looked at some of her articles and they're great. It was a younger woman withher own website. |

I also read Susan Griffith cover to cover (in 1991), vividly remember buying it (in the (surely misnamed) World's Biggest Bookstore in Toronto) and virtually slept with the book under my pillow....
But anyway. She does have v useful and seemingly current pages with links on TransitionsAbroad.com (though there is some outdated stuff from other writers there) and she looks pretty young still, in her picture!
However I do remember seeing ads somewhere for a book (or e-book) apparently listing all language schools everywhere, with the exhortation to just write or doorstep all of them. Is that the one you mean? Links on various job boards, including I think eslemployment.com - I would search for you but I'm on an appallingly slow connection just now. |

There's also corkid.co.uk, which I don't think is the one I mentioned above. Also an e-book.
Man this connection is hurting. |

thanks! Just what I was looking for. I know what you mean about stupid computers. My mouse jumps all over the place and downloads internet pages by itself. Can't wait to get a new one. |

If you identify the book/website, will you post it here, please? Thanks! |
