Anyone ever taught there? I'm currently working in a similar program in and I'd fulfill the requirements for Bogazici's program but a quick look at their website showed a lack of non-Turkish teachers. Do they only hire Turks? Foreigners not interested for some reason? |

it's not a private university so the pay is almost half what one would get at a private university. the students, however are about twice a enjoyable to teach because their entrance standards are higher and they're not spoiled rich brats. the state universities in turkey cost almost nothing for the students are are funded by the government, whereas the private uni students are paying about $7000 a year. |
