M.E. hot hot hot
see me swelter in the heat
S.K. stinky stinky stinky
see me cough in the street
Europe run run run
see me run right off my feet

where to go?
trying to decide is no fun
give me a job
in the sun
with moderate temps
all around
and a big fat pay cheque
easily found

in my dreams i have it all
in reality it's a tough call
ideas anyone?
i can't decide where to go
everywhere has its pros
and cons

rhyme some lines in response
we'll record it and sell it
and call it esl hip hop

hop from country to country
job to job
where's home in all of this?
I've got stuff in Canada - east and west
stuff in Europe, west and east
might as well go further east
then perhaps i'll get a feast
on exotic foods
at the very least

blah blah blah

The smells of Korea might make you reel
but the paycheck is good: you won't have to steal

In Europe you'll find culture and riches
and government systems that put you in stitches

So head out, young soul, into the great blue
I'll be hoping and wishing and praying for you.

In Europe too I have some fun
But that's because I've other income

In the ME of course you need an MA
But with all that you'll earn your pay

In Korea too you'll earn good pay
But it's a year long slog to that holiday

There is not much for me to add,
Very little to say.

But on the subject of income,
Know that it's magnitude varies to infinitum.

The better the place, the faster the pace
There you will find the smallest spare change

I saw no China on the line up
But why end up a whiner in China?

When cash and culture offer you more
And hash can help you forget you're poor

But who's the winner in the end
I suppose that could really depend

So common sense might help you mate
from making any foolish mistakes

Good luck and tell us how u get on
can somebody continue this song?

ME, need an MA, might be difficult adjusting to the religious life.

Korea, I love it. NOthing what I thought it would be.

Europe, nice life, but expensive.

I'm over 55, so no Middle East for me;
I've been to China, it's too far from friends & family;
Mexico was hot and I like a change of season;
Poland was OK--I left for no good reason,
but now I'm back where I grew up, and honestly can say
in spite of Dubya, I still love ...

the good ol' USA!

(working for a change in administration in 2008!)

If I could get the same pay I do now
I'd leave the ME and head to SK
or Europe before you'd say how

Since I'm not wealthy I suffice it to say
to get everything I want,
culture and people in one place
I can only pray

In conclusion the ME is not that bad
and, it's given me more moolah than I'd
ever had

yet I think of SK with fond memories
and who knows? If it gets too bad here
I'll be more than willing to go.

(I know I'm not a poet,
yet my feet show it. you know the rest.)
