| Looking for an indication of how much TEFL work there is in Plzen and also any pros/cons with living there as opposed to living in Prague. What is the average TEFL salary, and what would be a "fair" rent in Plzen? Having a lot of trouble finding affordable long-term accommodation in Prague, have come to Plzen for New Year and having a great time so am considering staying!! |

Dear Clarity,
I can't say too much about the market, but I'm going to assume that there are some hiring schools there. The pay won't be as good, but Prague is becoming more and more expensive, so it will probably equal out in the end. I would try and get a list of schools in the area and send them a blanket email. Also, calling works wonders too. |
