Can anyone tell me the J phone english contact number in Tokyo? I know there's a customer service number out there, but can't find any reference to it on their web site. Also, does anyone know if it's possible to cancel your keitai and pay the final bill on the same day? Everyone I know has had to leave money with a friend to pay their final bill one month after it was cancelled. (Most want their phones working until the day they leave).. I don't want to go a month without a phone and it's too inconvenient to sort out a friend to pay the bill after I leave. Thanks for any help, GenkiT |

I'm sure if you went into an offical J-Phone, not just a place that sells the models, shop and told them you wanted to cancel it they'll get the point even if you don't speak Japanese. If not they can call an English speaking staff memeber to help you out. J-Phone seems keen on gaijin business. They even have follow up calls in English when you get your new phone.
At the Docomo centers you can cancel your phone and pay out right away. I did it. I'm sure J-phone is the same.
Good luck! |

It's dead easy to cancel with J-Phone - one form and they fill it out for you.
With no Japanese do it this way: Go into any proper JPhone shop (not a re-seller) and collect the English language info sheet. Find the section that explains how to cancel a contract. Take that (the title is also in Japanese, so the staff will know what you want, even if they don't speak English) and the date you want it to finish and go pester a nice staff member. And you're done. Don't forget to take your hanko with you! |
