I'll be entering Japan on an a one way ticket. I'm planning on buying a one way ticket from Osaka to Seoul or Pusan as proof of an ongoing ticket (and canceling it when I arrive). They gave me the option of a normal ticket or an e-ticket. Is an e-ticket good enough as proof of an onward ticket out of the country?

Thanks

I have only been to Japan once but I was not asked for any such thing. We were herded like cattle through immigration and not asked to show anything save a passport. Then again I am white. (And a fine looking fellow if I must say so myself.) Anyway I have been told by some Nigerians and Filipinos and Middle East guys that they were given a pretty rough ride entering Japan. Bags searched-documents scoured that sort of thing. So I guess it depends on their mood. Have this e-thing ready---you can't have too much right???
