I have a job interview at a private high school coming up. Just curious as to what the typical questions are like. Do they just want to see that you're not an idiot or am I going to answer things like what I think my biggest weakness is? Anybody who's gone through it before I would appreciate the help. The search function doesn't seem to be working properly for me right now.

Some of the questions will depend on what's on your resume. Otherwise, pretty standard stuff...

Why do you want to teach here (Japan)?
How would you handle discipline problems when students don't speak or understand much English?
Any team-teaching experience?
Any curriculum-development experence?
What is your teaching method/philosophy?
Willing to work long, hard, grueling hours 6 days a week?
Any interests in club activities (for which you may actually be forced to participate)?
Any experience working with kids this age?
How's your Japanese (to interact with staff, attend several weekly meetings, and to read office memos)?
