| (2) The guys in the Metro promoting a CD, wearing a backpack/speaker getup. They make an announcement and then walk through the car with the music. blaring Thank God I haven't been hung over during one of these promotions. |
Just wait until you see the guy with the broken glass... |

Love is always in the air in Mexico...one of the things I like about this place...no cold puritan upbringing as we get back home.
The metro is another story...I'll admit to having made many a CD purchase there though. |

I guess Semana Santa at the beach has to be the most bizarre. I had a (private) rented house about 50 meters from the beach. During semana santa (which in fact was semana borracha), I had total strangers just walk on to my property, strip down to their underwear, and start swimming! One desperate lady with her teenagers asked to use my toilet! Then there was the local woman of the evening who jumped into the pool with me in her bra and panties, in broad daylight, and threatened to knife me! I left within 20 hours and never returned!
Semana Santa at the lakefront in Nicaragua was similar, and a local usually drowned during the week (drunk). |
