What's hilarious is that someone would "admit" to a fake ASSOCIATE'S degree

If I was your age, I suppose it would be hilarious. And sad.

In China, the only thing that makes a *significant* difference to how much you can earn is whether you have QTS (PGCE/B.Ed), as that opens the door to the top schools (i.e. British Schools, American schools, etc). Other than that for the usual China EFL jobs the differences offered to varying qualifiation levels are derisory - e.g. 4500 RMB/month standard, then a whopping 500 RMB/month more for those with a Masters, that's the sort of figure I tend to see. My old school had two new teachers one term. One had a B.Ed and 10 years of proper teaching experience in Canada. They gave her 4500 RMB a month as her qualification was 'just' a Bachelors. Another guy came with a Degree in politics or something and a Masters in International Diplomacy. They gave him 5000 a month!! If I was the former, I would have been deeply insulted. The money difference isn't huge, but what they are actually saying is insulting...

As far as ESL in China goes, it's more about *who* you know and contacts, for finding the best positions, than about whether you've got a masters or whatever.

I'm 21. Bachelor's takes 4 years. Wouldn't make much sense would it?

Trolling forums = waste of life.

Well if you're criminal enough to make a fake college "degree" [that an associates is hardly a degree] then fake your age and I.D. as well. Why stop at the "it's okay" level of just a fake degree.

I had my first bachelor's degree before I was 21, so it's hardly something out of the ordinary. I doubt anyone in China would blink an eye at age and degree earned - unless it was beyond a bachelor's maybe.

Why stop at only a fake degree?

Which part of this is it a "trolling forum" ? That frauds abound or that there are people who challenge the frauds?

I don't kniw why people bang on about these 4500 gigs. They are for the first timers. People staying on for more of that nonsene must be insane.

BA plus a bit of experience will get you 13000 plus in Eastern China (pay for your own digs and tax)
