Hello all,

Well after thinking long and hard about teaching in the Middle East I've decided to turn my attention elsewhere (mainly HK/Asia).

So as a B.A. Honours/Grad. Dip in Primary Ed. graduate with a year of primary teaching experience under my belt what are my chances in HK? I realize that this time of year may not be ideal (and I have applied to the NET program) but I am willing to wait for a few months if necessary.

Alternatively, if HK is a lost cause could anyone suggest another location in Asia that a) will pay a decent salary and b) will look credible on a resume.

With thanks in advance!

With your qualifications you should be eligible for the NET programme.
Recruitment usually starts around now but most people are not placed until August, when contracts usually start, so be prepared to wait.

Do they accept applications a few days later than the deadline (Jan 21st 2008)?

Hello everyone,

I have already applied for the NET program for 2008/2009. I did so weeks ago so my application is lodged an I have a reference number.

Is there no other opportunities in HK aside from that and Kindy teaching??

Thx
