Forget about inserting extra clauses into your contract. That's a utopistic idea

utopistic?? Does the word exist? Utopian, yes. I don't mind being corrected if I am wrong.

Hehehe ... but you obviously DO mind doing a 5-second research before you post a comment like that. So, to my great pleasure, let me tell you that you ARE wrong. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

I apologise unreservedly to Desert_Traveller. The word ''utopistic'' may exist but my students won't be learning it. They'll have to make do with ''utopian''.

Interesting that the dictionary link has it, but if you google the word, there are only 6000 or so links that come up and the only one that I found that used it as a synonym of utopian was right here on this thread. Laughing The rest linked you to various language dictionaries giving the word in another language.

But if you type in utopian you get 5,000,000 links.

Actually I think I like utopistic better, perhaps we could start it here as a better choice.

Original poster,

I sent you a pm.

I have only nice thoughts about the staff at ELS, and the more attention and respect you give to them, the more you'll get from them.

There are many students there who I absolutely love (and only a few I'd like to forget).

The only vacation time I'm aware of is after Ramadan. It's a 2 week vacation.

Actually, at the end of each month's session, you'll usually get 2 days off, which in addition to the weekend, is very nice.

The working hours are usually from 8:45am to 9pm with a (3 and a half hour?) break in the afternoon.

Your housing is in a PRIME location in Riyadh. You don't have to worry about housing and location.

"Make sure you know how long your business visa is valid for and how long you can stay in the country (two different things !!!)"

Oh, how I wish I had understood that before I went over. The 3 exclamation marks are earned.
