Everything is going along well here. The internet does not work. The store closes on 4 April. We all got our "you are fired" letters effective the same day. No real word on a new contractor.

Pay seems to be coming on time. Six more weeks with this contract!

Me leave? Never!

We suspect Al Salam may get the contract, so we expect to get hired on by them. Since no transfer stuff seems to be happening now, I guess an extension is possible, but I get the impression DIFA/ARINC would just as soon be done with this contract. I figure all this excitement has been a PITA for them as well as for us.

Or not.

I hesitate to post much more than that, as I do not like to pass on rumors.

We are all fired as of the end of the contract, 4 April. I presume tickets will come eventually. I also presume the new contractor will sign up those who wish to stay.

Salary is due later this week. Still no word about a new company yet. On the other hand there was a manager's meeting today. Maybe we will get some word.

have you got any news from the upcoming organization? i've heard they're not going to hire the over-aged expats, how true?when are they going to send them back home> i hope as soon as they got the service award they deserve....
