I have only been in Bursa since November teaching at a language school. In fact we are three native speakers here and would like to meet some other English teachers.

Since this city of 1.5m is rather non-international, I thought of starting an INTERNATIONAL TABLE, so that people could get together to just speak English.

WHERE> VITAMIN in Kulturpark (off of the Cekirge entrance).
WHEN> Fridays after 8pm
FOR WHOM> anyone interested in speaking English,
playing okey/ backgammon........or whatever

It would be great to meet some like-minded people here. (There are two waiters who speak some English and are very welcoming at VITAMIN). AFterwards we sometimes go out elsewhere.

Great idea. I wish someone had done that when I was in Bursa- I used to have to go to Bandirma for a decent all native speaker drinking session
