Hi guys,
I've been reading this forum for about a year, with some occasional posts. I'm in the middle of getting my Masters in Teaching degree in the US right now and I will finish in June.
In two weeks from today (!!!) I'm going down to Mexico to look at a couple of schools. The first is Escuela Toms Alva Edison in Colonia del Valle in DF...from what I've found online and heard from friends, this is a very nice neighborhood. Does anybody have any experience with this school?
The other one is Colegio Americano de Puebla. I've met with the woman here before, so I sort of know what to expect for this one.
Does anybody have any advice for looking at schools? I know I'll need to look at salary, employee benefits, and the general feeling I get from the place...as of right now, I feel better about the school in DF, but that could definitely change when I go there in person.
Anyway, I'm really excited about visiting the schools and then moving down in July. I hope to be a more active poster later! |
