As far as ESL, I have only made minor examinations of the Argentina forum, but isn't the job market in B.A. fairly tight due to lots of competition? And aren't salaries fairly low when compared to the elevated living costs?

That's the impression I've had over the last few years, from people posting here, elsewhere, and teaches I've met. Tough nut to crack, Argentina.

I've taught in Bs As and I'm currently teaching in Bogota. For me, Bs As is one of the best, coolest cities in the entire world, but you CANNOT live off a teacher's salary there...you would have to supplement your income from savings from home if you want to have the Porteno experience.

Bogota is currently rocking my world and I am making plenty to take care of my modest needs. I highly recommend this place - plus, there's not tons of gringos like in BsAs. My two cents.
